Location
The Main Library of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw is housed in Dewajtis Campus. The Library premises are located in a new building of the campus at level 0.

Reader’s Card
Reader’s card is issued in the lending room (5 Dewajtis Street, new building, level 0, the Main Library premises, room 309) within the library opening hours.
Eligible for borrowing are university employees, students and academic visitors.

 

 


Finding resources
The library maintains two catalogues. The materials that have been acquainted since 1993 can be checked in the online catalogue which is still complemented with older acquisitions. The card catalogue, closed in 2002, is located in the main hall of the library, and can be consulted for older holdings not present in the online catalogue.
Electronic resources listed on the website of the library can be accessed in the library or off campus by persons affiliated to UKSW.

 


Ordering and Borrowing
The printed materials can be ordered for borrowing via on-line catalogue or personally in the lending room (room 309).

  • Full-time students can borrow 5 books for 30 days.
  • Part-time students can borrow 5 books for 6 weeks.
  • Academics and doctoral students, 10 books for 90 days.

 


MAKING THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE
We make the library’s resources available in the following places:

  •  in the reading rooms: The Main Reading Room, (room 305), The Current Periodicals Reading Room (room 304), faculties and departamental libraries;
  •  For loan, for academics, doctoral students and all other students of UKSW. Other universities and institutions have access through the interlibrary loan.
